Life’s A Beach!

 

Summertime is finally here and being able to go to the beach is something that I look forward to all winter.  I wanted to make sure I got there in the evening so there would be less sun.  That’s the perfect time for my beach ball yoga exercises!

For my first beach outing I wanted to wear a bikini that was bright and colorful, and the “Ethnic Indi Bikini” from StarFashion was the perfect choice! I wanted this suit instantly at first sight because I love these colors together!

It’s made from sensuous silk that won’t weight you down once you get wet. I wanted to show you that the attention to detail carries on to the back, accented by a beautiful silver triangle!

As you can see, those accents start at the front, and are showcased by beautiful bead work on both the top and bottom.

Well, it’s fully dark now and I had a great workout. While winding down under a tree and the moon, I used that time to reflect on the first time I met the owner of StarFashion, Mrs. Diane Cyberstar.  She gave me some great tips and advice, along with a great conversation, and I truly appreciate the time she gave.  Thank you Diane!

Beautiful Independence!!

 

One of my favorite holidays is fast approaching and here I am..trying to raise the roof for our upcoming “Independence Day”….or as some of us like to say…”The 4th of July” lol!.  Yes I know…I’m a little too short and my arm doesn’t quite reach, but I’m still feeling confident and excited in this cute and fun “Independence 4th Mini and Formal Gown” from the fabulous Gelese Giano!

What I love about this dress is that it also comes with the ability to transform into a formal evening gown with the Flexi three tier ruffle Skirt (touch re size) and the silk elbow length gloves.

The star worn on the shoulder is sculpted with diamonds and curly ribbon  and adds just the right detail to make this dress different and special.

Painstakingly crafted from hand painted silk, it flows and settles softly and sensually with every movement!

I really try to immerse myself in holiday celebrations, so I added the “Statue of Liberty” crown from another “4th of July” outfit, along with some matching earrings and a bracelet.  Now I’m totally ready to party!

I never used to pay much attention to hair accessories, but lately they’re getting too hard to ignore.  Many are like beautiful art, and the “Princess” from "*SoliDea Folies*” takes its rightful place in that category!

It’s funny…  as far as dresses I go, I used to stay away from the colors blue and pink, but some recent discoveries have me singing a different tune!

The “Avona” Blue from Sascha’s Designs called to me when I saw it.  It may have been that touch of green and the beautiful detailing on the front that did it for me. This gorgeous dress comes with a few different skirt choices as well.

The “Serenity” Ocean shoes are one of the latest group gifts from Purrfect 10.

Skin matching was a breeze, and the hud is very easy to use…I love that green toenail polish was available!

I’m always amazed with the pieces from FineSmith Designs, and I love the way the colors are blended in the “Ocean Wind” pieces. 

Both the necklace and the bracelet are resizable.

Topping it all off is the elegant “Mandy” hair from Bliss Couture, and it’s part of the Bliss Couture Hair Sale 50% off until June 12th.

I enjoyed the beauty of Alirium Gardens, and explored it for a couple of hours.  It’s a very inspirational and peaceful place and I’ll be sure to visit again.

Happy Pants & Feet!

Spring has sprung and that always makes me happy!  Nothing lifts my spirit like longer and warmer days, more sunshine, and the bloom of nature.  For some reason I have to coordinate my sl wardrobe with my rl seasons.  And if I visit a sim with snow I have to put on a coat.  (Hoping I'm not the only one that does this ??!!) Anyway...I found some pants that I've dubbed my "happy pants", because that's the feeling I got immediately after putting on the "Jasmine" pants  from Sascha's Designs.

Of course a girl must have happy feet to go with her happy pants...and I found some in the past couple of weeks that fit the bill, starting with a brand new release at Sim-I-Lar Shoes!  I literally gasped with pleasure when I saw these (and my toes wiggled with joy)!

They come in oodles of colors, an open toe style (shown below), as well as a closed toe style.  They are also very versatile with texture changes for the bands, metal, and heels, and the hiding and showing of the bands and the platform.  You can even input the RGB colors of your skin for perfect matching. I'm just showing some of the combination changes below:

Last, but definitely not least is the "K.I.A." shoes from LeLutka. It was so hard to take these off, so I just kept finding items in my wardrobe to match them for about a week. The EverGreen color was exclusive to the Shoe Fair 2011 and not available seperately but is included in the fatpack.
