Playing Cupid

Well, that day on which many of us get extra lovey dovey is fast approaching!  Yes, Valentine’s Day…that day of cards, gifts, candy, and other items to express our feelings even deeper than we did at Christmas time!

Even though I’m currently single, I’ve decided to make the best of it by trying to spread some V day love to others! 

Putting  on Gelese Giano’s “Valerie Cupid_Costume” outfit,  made me instantly  feel like a superhero! (If I had some biceps I’d a gladly flexed them!)

I decided to visit a place called Mystico Ville Romantic Garden to hunt for some potential victims..umm, I mean love challenged individuals that might need just a little nudge in the right direction.

Suddenly I hear voices…could it be?! Yes…a man and a woman have arrived.  I grab my bow, spin around, and let my heart tipped arrows fly!

Just across the lake, two people are now dancing in each other’s arms…hopefully feeling all the throes of new love!

It seems my work is done here…I’ll be retiring my weapons of love for the night, but you too can feel like a “love superhero” in this amazing costume which includes the pumps (but no bow and arrow) for only L$75. Made of silk and encrusted with diamonds with rubies on the shoes, it’s guaranteed to have you feeling super empowered!

That was fun and I’m thinking of how many more times I can spread some love in that manner.  Hopefully we’ll all show a little more love to each other, in small and large ways, everyday.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge–Iron

In my travels this week, I discovered a sim so amazing and different from any sim I’ve been on so far (keep in mind my traveling had been pretty limited until now)! 

Of course many of you may already know about or have visited the Oasis of Yvi Ivory, but if you haven’t you’ll definitely be in for a visual treat! Click on one of the red mushrooms to visit all of the different “rooms” such as “mystic caves”, “grotto”, “waterworld”, and about 12 other rooms, as well as some hidden places.  Some of rooms made me yearn for a partner to enjoy them with…very romantic.  They also made me wish to be able to take better pics to show you.  For this post I settled on the “snowy” room, and the pics do not do it justice!

I’m so glad I had on my trusty “Black Wellies” from Ear Candy, though I needed a coat. At least they kept my feet warm while I traipsed around with squirrels and a few other lil’ creatures!

It wasn’t long before I retreated back into the cozy open cabin to warm up by the fire before taking off for my next venture…maybe I’ll see you there?!  If not, enjoy!

52 Week Color Challenge– Electric Indigo

This is me throwing up my hands in frustration!  Yep, this color was last week’s pick for Luna’s 52 Week Color Challenge, and yep, it’s late!  I had decided not to blog it for that reason, but alas, my viewer is currently not cooperating to give me the pics I want for this week’s color, and since these were done and just sitting there, I decided to go ahead with it.  My humble apologies to Luna and the group, and I’m promising again, to try not to be late, again…thank you!

Can you believe this amazing outfit was under the Christmas tree at Adoness! For that reason, indigo is now one of my new favorite colors!  The versatility of wearing it without the jacket is a major plus, and the little extra added touches to the collar and skirt hem made me smile.  


Purrfect 10’s latest release of the “Aphrodite Leather and Lace Thigh Boots” added the steam factor…sizzlin’!  The lace and the lacing on the back are both color change, as well as the heels and soles…. of course they do come in other colors and you’ll love the rich pebbled leather texture which makes them feel so great on!

Ear Candy’s “What’s Your Point” jewelry collection was just what I needed --- it saved me from rummaging through zillions of folders trying to find a match.  This fabtabulous set (also includes a ring) is color change and is the current 60L offering..so please hurry to pick it up in gold or silver!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge–Coral

 

Since I was soooo very late in posting the first week’s challenge (ok, I admit it, I was going by sl time), I’m getting this weeks in a lil earlier!

When I searched my inventory for “coral”, only a couple of items came up.  That kind of surprised me because it’s a beautiful color.  It did make me happy to see that one of the items was the fabulous “D’Ann” pumps which are the most recent group gift from Hucci!  And it just so happened that one of the other items was a great looking bodysuit in a darker coral, also from Hucci!

I visited quite a few new sims in my travels this week, but just decided to finally snap a pic just before I left the “London Mayfair” sim.  Be sure to check out to view some rl replicas located in the Mayfair section of London!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge ~ Champagne

 

Happy New Year’s Everyone!!

 

I think by the time I started blogging last year, Lena’s 52 Week Color Challenge was already in full swing. Everyone’s posts were really good and I enjoyed following the posts.

Though I kept telling myself I was going to try a post to it I never did.  When I saw that she was starting it again, I decided to give it a shot.  It’s kind of late for the first week though but hopefully I’ll make it!

 

Since one of my other resolutions (the color challenge is one also) is to explore my places in SL, I decided to check out the “Virtual Harlem” sim. Badoura’s Designs lovely “Wanda” gown, seemed to fit right in here, as the sim is set in the 1920’s.

Last time I checked, this sexy gown was still on sale for $L55, so you might want to hurry on over.  The other colors are still a great buy at under 200L’s!
