Late Night Treats

You know how it is, headed home after a great night of dancing, and that craving hits you, your mouth is watering for a delicious treat! I found the most perfect little cafe on  Missing Melody.  

Hmm, should I go back in? Maybe get something for breakfast?

 So many yummy sweets behind me..I couldn't resist!  How fitting is it that this lovely quaint shop is located in a region called "Angel in Heaven"?! I recognize a sign when I see it!:)

 

SEEING RED!

Red is one of my favorite colors, but I'm surprised by how few times I actually wear it.  Feeling an urge to change that led me to a shop I've been meaning to get back to for awhile..a store that I used to shop at quite often in the past. 

There I found, among other beautiful one of a kind gowns and clothing, was this gorgeous "Dream Girls Butterfly Gown" in Red! It fits very well, and I just love the intricate butterfly design that adorns the back of the gown! There is a delicate piping that goes around the bodice as well as the hem, and it's also available in other colors.

The owner and designer, Simone Udimo, has always had lovely clothing and she's only gotten better!  Do yourself a favor and check out her unique shop, MokaGirl.  I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised by what you find there, as well as the unexpected prices.  You will find apparel for men there as well.

No Sun-day but still a PurpleMoon!

I'm hoping every Mom, Mom-to-Be, and all other "Mom" figures had a beautiful Mother's Day! My plans were to attend Church before anything else, but simply put, by the time I noticed the clock and started my mad dash to get dressed, the dreaded lag slowed my process and by the time I finally was able to get dressed, thanks to sl lag, I just didn't want to go strolling into River of Life any later than I normally arrive! 

I'm a bit nervous about this post. It's been awhile but I've decided to make a go at blogging again! Blogging fashion and destinations in sl was something I really enjoyed, and I'm hoping it will be a somewhat therapeutic, enjoyable, and new adventure..sort of like retail therapy is!

There have been many reasons why I've put it off: was away from sl too long, still don't have that awesome super powered pc that will give me those sleek, beautifully shadowed and gorgeous pics that bring out the best magazine like quality photos, etc etc. But I've decided to do it for myself the best I can and if other's like my posts, that will be an added bonus!

 My simple outfit was inspired by the dreary, wet, and cold weather here in my city...I just wanted to bring some sun into my Sunday and I chose a dress from PurpleMoon Creations, the beloved store that is unfortunately going out of business, but fortunately everything in the store is on sale for 50L!

The "Maureen" dress is a rich textured A-Line dress that flatters almost every figure and is also my favorite go to dress style in RL. It's available in several different gorgeous colors!

I topped it off with "Taren with Hat" hair from TRUTH.  It comes with a great hud full of colors for both the hat and the band and can also be worn without the hat.

These gorgeous "Rockstud T-Strap Pumps" that I love (but then again I love all things Gos Boutique), have been around for a minute but will never go out of style for me. These are the Black patent color that come in the Metallic Collection and has a HUD for the rest of the metallic colors.

Lastly, this darling little "Berloque Clutch" was sent out as a gift from JUMO Luxury Fashion House. They are currently having a great Mother's Day Fashion Hunt until 5/14, with the gorgeous hunt gifts being just 15L.

Hearts Ablaze Hunt ~ Part 2

Here are some more goodies from the “Hearts Ablaze Hunt” presented by Greater Love!

This wonderful vintage style dress is from Cerina Zeplin of Genesis Inc.  I’d never before thought that tats looked good with this type of dress, but I’ve changed my mind!  They add a lil dangerous feel to such a demure dress and they come with!

The hunt also has some cute decorative items for your home like this cute Love Hearts tree with glowing hearts from Persenofee Yuhara of Feeel.

This adorable table by Pattye Carproni at Sleepy Hollow Farms Home and Garden Design looks so perfect in my foyer and comes with the heart potted plant you see on the floor beside it.

I’ve heard the phrase “hanging from the ceiling” many times, and that’s exactly what I felt like doing when I put on the “Carino Skirt” set from Fabienne Bolissima Couture!

It’s just as cute from the rear and I really love the seamed stockings with the bows on them!

Hearts Ablaze Hunt ~ Part One

I’m so glad to finally get back inworld to be able to show you some items from the “Hearts Ablaze Hunt”, presented by Greater Love!  It started on February 11th and runs through March 3rd and has some fabulous items to wear for Valentine’s Day, as well as decorate your home!

This is one version of the “Akasha”  dress by Yaline Sewell of Eluzion.  I really love this halter style topped with a frilly color design and the same cute hearts you see on the front are also featured on the back.

Version 2 adds a cute little skirt if you want just a bit more coverage, and perfectly compliments the collar!

I especially adore this heart necklace because of its beautiful vintage style.  You can’t tell from the pic, but the actual stone in it glows off and on.  This gorgeous piece, so rightly named the “Burning Hearts Necklace”, is offered by Lilah Munster at Chaos, Panic, & Disorder!

Playing Cupid

Well, that day on which many of us get extra lovey dovey is fast approaching!  Yes, Valentine’s Day…that day of cards, gifts, candy, and other items to express our feelings even deeper than we did at Christmas time!

Even though I’m currently single, I’ve decided to make the best of it by trying to spread some V day love to others! 

Putting  on Gelese Giano’s “Valerie Cupid_Costume” outfit,  made me instantly  feel like a superhero! (If I had some biceps I’d a gladly flexed them!)

I decided to visit a place called Mystico Ville Romantic Garden to hunt for some potential victims..umm, I mean love challenged individuals that might need just a little nudge in the right direction.

Suddenly I hear voices…could it be?! Yes…a man and a woman have arrived.  I grab my bow, spin around, and let my heart tipped arrows fly!

Just across the lake, two people are now dancing in each other’s arms…hopefully feeling all the throes of new love!

It seems my work is done here…I’ll be retiring my weapons of love for the night, but you too can feel like a “love superhero” in this amazing costume which includes the pumps (but no bow and arrow) for only L$75. Made of silk and encrusted with diamonds with rubies on the shoes, it’s guaranteed to have you feeling super empowered!

That was fun and I’m thinking of how many more times I can spread some love in that manner.  Hopefully we’ll all show a little more love to each other, in small and large ways, everyday.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge–Iron

In my travels this week, I discovered a sim so amazing and different from any sim I’ve been on so far (keep in mind my traveling had been pretty limited until now)! 

Of course many of you may already know about or have visited the Oasis of Yvi Ivory, but if you haven’t you’ll definitely be in for a visual treat! Click on one of the red mushrooms to visit all of the different “rooms” such as “mystic caves”, “grotto”, “waterworld”, and about 12 other rooms, as well as some hidden places.  Some of rooms made me yearn for a partner to enjoy them with…very romantic.  They also made me wish to be able to take better pics to show you.  For this post I settled on the “snowy” room, and the pics do not do it justice!

I’m so glad I had on my trusty “Black Wellies” from Ear Candy, though I needed a coat. At least they kept my feet warm while I traipsed around with squirrels and a few other lil’ creatures!

It wasn’t long before I retreated back into the cozy open cabin to warm up by the fire before taking off for my next venture…maybe I’ll see you there?!  If not, enjoy!
